Reed, Austin, Big Spoon, other people I have probably met or will meet soon: I pretty much love you for ever.
A year ago today, I was watching the first signs of spring: spots of color breaking through the greens, grays and rusty browns of a remote, nearly desolate part of northern California.
A long, hard summer of travel had worn me out… but then I visited Polyface Farms, and my inner food-nerd woke right back up again.
God Hates Fags members are coming to San Francisco, and they’re mad. The reason? “Filthy Jews”.
According to God Hates Fags (an outreach program of the Westboro Baptist Church), Jews are evil and eat their own babies.
Twitter, as a medium of mass communication, has “a duty to God just like every other person to serve God and to use ALL their resources in their service to him”. Apparently, “Obama’s about to take away any/all resources like Twitter to serve him and his Antichristic agenda”. To protest this, WBC members will be Tweeting as they picket.
